Eva’s first feature ANTBOY (Ask Hasselbalch) premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2013 while the sequel ANTBOY:REVENGE OF THE RED FURY was selected for Generation Kplus at the Berlinale in 2015. Both won the Danish Academy Award for Best Children’s Film and were sold to more than 75 countries.
She was appointed Producer on the Move in 2014 and was selected for Producer’s Lab Toronto in 2015 and taken in as member of ACE 25 (Atéliers du Cinéma Européen). Eva is a voting member of The European Film Academy.
Eva Jakobsen holds a B.A. in Film- and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
Mikkel has over the last 5 years produced and co-produced a number of feature films that have premiered in competition in Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and San Sebastian as well as won prices on numerous festivals all over the world.
In 2015, Mikkel won the Golden Sea Shell at San Sebastian International Film Festival with SPARROWS (Rúnar Rúnarsson), premiered LOUDER THAN BOMBS (Joachim Trier) in competition in Cannes, and was honoured by the international film magazine Screen International as a “Future Screen Leader”.
In 2016 Mikkel was selected as one of ‘Europe’s Young Masters’ by The Hollywood Reporter. Before that, he was appointed Producer on The Move by European Film Promotion during Cannes Film Festival and was shortlisted for the European Film Awards with SPARROWS, which was also chosen as the Icelandic candidate for the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
Mikkel Jersin graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011 with a Master in film production. He also holds a bachelors degree from Copenhagen Business School in Business Communication and International Marketing.
Presently, Mikkel is attending the EAVE – Ties That Bind workshop in order to setup co-productions with Asia.
Katrin has more than 10 years of experience working as a producer and line producer between Europe and Latin America. Katrin’s most recent productions include the upcoming La Region Salvaje by Cannes winner Amat Escalante and numerous features and documentaries produced out of Latin America. Currently, Katrin is in pre-production with Birds of Passage, the new film by Ciro Guerra (Embrace of the Serpent).
Katrin is a graduate of the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, Cuba (EICTV), and the Media Business School, Spain. Furthermore, Katrin is a former member of EAVE and holds a degree in international Business and politics from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
Moreover, she is employed as an expert consultant for Creative Europe – MEDIA – EACEA and is an honorary member of the Pristina Film Festival jury.
Katrin co-founded the production company Blond Indian Films in Colombia with Carlos Garcia in 2012, before returning to Denmark to set up Snowglobe in 2015. Today, Katrin is based partly in Denmark, partly in Colombia and produces and co-produces Latin American and Danish directors alike.
