MIKKEL JERSIN

Mikkel Jersin is an award-winning producer and co-founder of Snowglobe, with a distinguished career spanning nearly 50 feature films. Recognized as one of Europe’s Young Masters by The Hollywood Reporter and a Future Screen Leader by Screen International, he has established himself as a leading producer in both Danish and international cinema.
Among his recent projects, THE BLUE CAFTAN (Maryam Touzani) won the FIPRESCI Award in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best International Feature.
Mikkel also co-produced THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD (Joachim Trier), which was nominated for two Academy Awards (Best International Feature & Best Original Screenplay, 2022) and two BAFTAs. The film also won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021.
His career has been marked by a series of acclaimed productions, including SPARROWS (Rúnar Rúnarsson), which won the Golden Shell at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. In 2016, he was named Producer on the Move by European Film Promotion during the Cannes Film Festival—the same year he premiered LOUDER THAN BOMBS (Joachim Trier) in the festival’s official competition.
A graduate of the National Film School of Denmark with a Master’s in Film Production, Mikkel has also studied at the prestigious EAVE program. He holds a degree in Business Communication and International Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.
